A new Stephen Minister training class will begin in October
Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training and the class will meet
weekly. If you are interested, please call the church office:

Stephen Ministry: Caring for you through Christ

Stephen Ministry is a confidential, one-on-one ministry that cares for the needs of the ill, those going through life-changing stiuations such as divorce, relocation, loss of job or expecting a child.
Stephen Ministers are trained to listen and be present for their care receivers.

Cherrydale UMC is enrolled as a Stephen Ministry congregation and considers this
Christian caregiving is a vital part of the total healing ministry of Christ’s body, the Church.

Stephen Ministers are trained to aid you to more effectively deal with your own situations and to help you grow.

If you would like a Stephen Minister to contact you, or just have questions about Stephen Ministry, please contact one of our Stephen Leaders at 703-527-2621 (mailbox #8) and indicate your name, phone number, e-mail address and the best time to reach you. All calls are confidential.

You may also complete a Stephen Ministry card, found in the brochure rack in the narthex, seal it with the sticker and place it in the Stephen Ministry mailbox in the office.
